Coke County Judge W. W. Thetford announced this week he will run again for the office he currently holds. Thetford, a Coke County native with WWII service and teaching backgrounds, noted strong support and said he will issue a voter statement in the coming weeks.
Coke County native Mrs. Jerry Thomason announces candidacy for a second term as county treasurer. widow with two sons Gary Jack and Craig, she reflects on three years of service and urges Democratic primary voters to support her in May 2 elections. She plans active campaigning across the county.
Doughty McDonald of San Angelo spent the weekend with his aunt Mrs. Taylor Emerson. Mrs. Emerson, Doughty and his parents Mr. and Mrs. W. D. McDonald visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Walton.
