Swingers Take Part in Roscoe Festival Stage Band
The Swingers Bronte High School stage band performed at the Roscoe festival but did not finish in the top three of Class A. Five band members earned All-Festival honors: Bob Taylor cornet John Heaner trombone Debbie Hurley guitar Leah Barbee piano Jodns Freeman marimba. Jefferson Jr High Abilene won Class B, Buena Vista second, Roscoe Jr High third. Lubbock Monterrey Stage Band followed with a concert.
