Local club meeting shares textile talk and community notes
The WHO Club met in Blackwell with a morning canning event and a luncheon. Mrs. C. Ragsdale presided and Mrs. R. H. Reaves and Mrs. C. B. Smith were chosen to attend a Sweetwater training school. Talks covered rayon nylon fabrics and fastness, plus trade names. Several local residents were listed as present or visiting, with updates on weddings moves and local jobs. Oscar Henderson joined the Army.
