Collision victim dies in Edinburg hospital
Oliver Anderson died Monday at Grandview Hospital from injuries in a head on collision near Mission Saturday night. He suffered a skull fracture and leg injuries. Anderson, a road maintenance machine operator for Lee Walker, was returning to Edinburg to see his mother when his car hit one driven by Jose Lozano of San Juan. Vicente Cruze, 22, a passenger, remains hospitalized at Grandview. Lozano and Jose Gonzales were treated and released. Funeral services were held Wednesday. He leaves his mother, seven brothers, five sisters, and military relatives living in Texas and France.
