At 6 30 P M Sunday night the First Methodist Church hosted Santa with Mrs Taylor and helpers giving readings and music. Miss Beverly Kay Browning recited The Night Before Christmas while children shared gifts and treats were distributed to all. Rev McCrary led a carol tour after services as Jeff Deans son offered a nickel toward a dog house for his new puppy.
A family reunion story notes Mr. and Mrs. Jack Morrison of San Angelo visiting Bronte relatives, including sisters Mrs. Morrison and Mrs. Clifford Clark. Bob Haley and his wife join, with sons Richard and Kirk from San Francisco and Oregon, and George from Seals Beach, California. Davis Haley recently left the service. The group celebrated Christmas Day with the Morrisons in San Angelo.
