Cotton Quota Vote Set For December Referendum
Raymond Schooler, Coke County A S C Committee chair, says the December 13 cotton quota referendum will decide quota penalties and 1956 price support levels. If two thirds approve, 75 to 90 percent parity support and penalties apply. if opposition exceeds one third, no penalties and 50 percent parity support. Voting runs 9 AM to 6 PM at Robert Lee Agricultural Building and Bronte City Hall.
