The Enterprise announces a Christmas edition featuring letters to Santa from Bronte area youngsters and Christmas greeting ads. Children may address letters to Drawer O Bronte and the paper will forward them to Santa at the North Pole before Christmas. Norma Pruitt Honored With Bridal Shower
Miss Norma Pruitt bride elect of Joe Mack Allbright was honored at a bridal shower from 7 to 9 pm Saturday in Central Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Attending in the receiving line were the honoree the groom elect and mothers Mrs Noah Pruitt Jr and Mrs Joe Allbright. Guests registered by Mrs Dorothy Corley of Houston. The table featured a white lace cloth with silver crystal, pink carnations and roses and candles. Pink punch and party favors were served by several helpers. Hostesses included a long list of local ladies. Visitors noted were Mrs A L Sandefurt and her sons from Lubbock along with the Stout family and Texas Tech guests.

After School Bible Study at First Baptist Church
The After School Bible Study met Monday at the First Baptist Church with 18 children present. Teachers included Mrs. Olin Corley Mrs. Gordon Montgomery Mrs. Thelma Smith and Mrs. Ben Noble. Vera Bryant played piano. Refreshments preceded the song service Bible stories and crafts.

Cadette Girl Scout Troop 217 will hold a garage sale Saturday December 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Ed Sprenkle residence in south Bronte. Cookies will be sold and all proceeds go toward a trip for the girls next spring.
