In a Lake Spence update, several anglers report a range of catches after a turkey day pause. Y. J.'s Marina in Midland notes a 4 lb black bass by Charles Euck. Dink's Bait-Old Edith Store lists Lonnie Keith with 2 blacks to 2 lbs and 25 channel cats to 4 lbs. C. C. Weir of Robert Lee reports 5 channel cats to 3 lbs. Triangle Grocery records 4 blacks to 3 lbs, Wildcat Fish-A-Rama’s Bubba Duncan and Robert Lee report 4 channel cats to 3.5 lbs. G. Kerbow of Midland has blacks to 4 lbs. Hillside Grocery lists multiple species from 2 to 5 lbs, including a 14 lb striped bass by J. E. Templeton of Robert Lee, along with yellow and channel cats and stripers up to 12 lbs by Red Smith of Odessa.
