Mr and Mrs J S Murtishaw and children along with Mr and Mrs Otho Long and children vacationed last week at Garner State Park. The Murtishaws and Grace Murtishaw spent Sunday in San Angelo with sister C F Sharp and family, enjoying a picnic at North Concho Lake Sunday night.
Weekend visitors in the John Clark and related homes include Mrs. Willie Gunn Fort Worth Mr and Mrs Leonard Gunn Sweetwater and others from Roswell Santa Rosa Sterling City Bronte and San Angelo. A quilting club meeting at J ohn Clark’s is announced with a covered dish.
Mr and Mrs Ben Murphy of Tennyson visited Marvin Corley and family Sunday. Marvin Stevens and his niece Mrs George Thomas attended a Stevens reunion in Alpine. The gathering coincided with Sul Ross College graduation where Mrs Claude Barger earned a BA in Art. Guest L W Beaty hosted sister Mrs W N Watson of Duncan Arizona.
