Turkeys and Chickens on the Latham Farm
The Lathams raise 1500 chickens and 1900 turkeys in a 128 by 32 foot house planning to hatch 1000 pullets. They feed turkeys with Power feed and chickens with Red Ch. feed, and sell eggs to a Comanche hatchery. A second school phone line and a high school line were set up, and a church group held an ice cream supper with guests from Robert Lee.
