Four Accidents Reported Over Easter Weekend in County
Four auto accidents occurred from Saturday afternoon to Tuesday morning in the county. No major injuries were reported. In Robert Lee, a 1969 Chevrolet driven by Julia Lara Tornes and a 1973 Chevrolet pickup driven by Troy Eugene Montgomery collided at Eighth and Commerce. both vehicles suffered extensive damage. A 1968 Volkswagen driven by Robert Sanchez rolled over near Robert Lee Dam, with Sanchez Salvador Longoria and David Luna Baldenas sustaining minor injuries. A 1966 Volkswagen driven by William David Dehay ran off the road west of Robert Lee. Dehay had minor injuries. In Bronte, a 1966 Ford pickup driven by Brady Mills and a 1973 Ford pickup driven by Jack Henderson collided with no injuries and minor damage.
