Bronte School Board Sets 1973-74 Plans and Sales
The Bronte School Board approved a cooperative program for special education in 1973-74, studied 15 year fund and index trends, and decided to adopt bus routes 1 and 2 at term start. It approved selling four old Elna sewing machines, replaced with new units, appointed Board of Equalization for 1973, and scheduled a May 24 meeting with Thomas Y. Pickett Co. to study oil gas utilities and industry properties. The board also approved selling a 1966 Chevrolet 48 passenger bus, announced an April 24 area workshop at Angelo State University, adopted the 1973-74 calendar, joined lunchroom commodities next year with Barbee as representative, and to switch to Daylight Saving Time on April 29.

The State Health Department sponsors immunizations for area children this Friday April 27 from 8 30 to 11 a m at the school. Children not yet immunized are urged to attend to protect against polio diphtheria tetanus measles and rubella before kindergarten next fall.
