Cotton Experts To Lead Coke Meeting In Robert Lee
A team from the Texas Agricultural Extension Service will conduct a cotton production program in Robert Lee on Wednesday April 20 at 2 00 P M in the County Court room. Specialists in insect control irrigation production harvesting and handling will join Extension Cotton Works Specialist Fred Elliott to discuss topics and show films. All interested in cotton production are invited to attend and ask questions.

L T Youngblood and wife traveled by train to White Sulphur Springs West Virginia for American Bankers Association sessions. He serves as a director. White Sulphur Springs is noted as a resort in that region.

Clyde Lee and wife moved in with unfinished exterior work south of E F Glenn residence. J R Rasco and wife moved their house from Humble camp into town two blocks east of the highway road to the park and are making improvements.

Henry's Food Market Opens Under New Management
Henry Walker now operates Henry's Food Market after purchasing Cumbie's Food Store. The opening weekend offered free coffee and a prize drawing with winners including J. Madera G. A. Braswell Mrs. Rube Collins Mrs. Ben Reaves H. H. Holland Mrs. J. W. Latham Sharon Mackey Pete Gentry and Mrs. Ben Ogles. The event marked the store's branding change. J. O. Y.
