Brookshire area notes lively Easter visit patterns
Mrs Johnny Brown of Norton Kansas visited with Mr and Mrs Charlie Brown Saturday. The Flanagans of Lubbock visited and Sharon Flanagan stayed. Sharon spent part of the week with her grandmother in San Angelo. Various relatives from Blackwell San Angelo Ballinger Bronte and Ballinger area gathered for Sunday visits. The engagement of Miss Oates to A3C Keele was announced for May 24 at Baptist Temple Church. Easter weekend activities and social visits dominated the Brookshire notes including a 42 game session.

Quilting Club Meets in Tennyson Home on March 31
The Quilting club gathered at Mrs. Robert Brown's home with 16 ladies and several men present for lunch. Mrs Ester Irby of San Angelo spent Thursday night in the Bert Cornelius home. Mrs Cornelius accompanied them home for an overnight visit. Mr and Mrs George Knoche and family spent Sunday in the Cornelius home. Mr and Mrs Jack Corley and Davis visited Mrs Alene Latham in Bronte Sunday evening.
