Two Fires Keep Firemen Busy Here Yesterday
Bristol fire crews fought two blazes yesterday with alarms at 3:00 pm and 3:10 pm. The first blaze at the Bristol Manufacturing Corp was minor, confined to a new wing with lacquer barrel combustion. The second blaze on Mt Hope Avenue involved a washing machine on the third floor where Mrs Mary Duart and three children escaped heavy smoke as spontaneous combustion from pantry items caused mild damage.
