Warren sewing machine agent injured near depot turntable
Charles Clark of Warren a sewing machine agent met a serious accident Wednesday evening near the depot. His horse pulling a light wagon became entangled in a nearby turntable, throwing him from the wagon into the pit. He suffered cuts bruises and shock while the horse was only lightly hurt. Police and citizens assisted in freeing them and Clark was driven home. The cause of leaving the roadway onto the trestle remains unclear.

State game law opens October first for Rhode Island
The state game law takes effect October 1 and runs through January 1, allowing partridge, quail, woodcock and gray squirrels hunting. Prospects look good statewide.
