A Fall River bound electric train derailed near Warren station after the rear car split a switch. 22 passengers were aboard with no injuries. One hundred fifty residents joined a Sunday trip from this town to Fort Rodman New Bedford Massachusetts aboard the Steamer Sagamore. The party encountered choppy seas at Burdyard's Bay on the voyage out and seasickness for some, but calm conditions on the return. Bristol County Gas and Electric Co will soon receive abundant gas from Providence Gas Co. New lines from Riverside to Warren are laid with temporary connections at Warren for tests.
