Meredith Lindsey Robinson daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Maxwell Robinson wed Philip Clark Simmons son of Mrs. Anne Simmons at First Congregational Church in Warren. The 3 p.m. ceremony was performed by Rev. Samuelee of Providence. The bride wore a floor-length bouffant gown with lace appliques and carried white dahlias. Bridesmaids wore rust gowns and carried buff and orange dahlias. Best man was Robert Simmons. ushers included Gerald Robinson and William O'Brien. Reception followed. couple to honeymoon in Florida and will reside at 44 Constitution Street.

The Rev Mario Tardivo officiated the 9 am nuptial mass. The bride wore white taffeta with lace and a jeweled crown veil. Maid of honor Mary Scattino and bridesmaids Judith Marabello and Carol Cook. Best man Alfred De Angelis, with Carmine Marabello Jr and Anthony Natale as ushers. Reception at General Hamilton Hall followed. The couple will reside at 956 Hope St after a wedding trip through New England.

The Kingsmen Bugle and Drum Corps held an afternoon outing at Town Beach on Colt Drive last Sunday. Scouts met at Scout Hall at 1 p.m. and traveled by car. hot dogs were served around a coal fire, then games and contests followed until rain at 5 p.m. Transportation was provided by corps officials. rehearsals and recruit drills are planned for this week with sessions at 7:15 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. respectively.
