Judge Walsh Refuses Dump Restraining Order

Superior Court Judge Charles Walsh declines to issue a restraining order against the Town of Bristol over Minturn Farm dump use. The ruling follows a private conference with counsel for complainants against the dump and Bristol’s town solicitor. A separate demurrer challenges the bill of complaint as vague and outside Superior Court jurisdiction, arguing the town acts in a governmental capacity and seeks no equity relief.
