Bristol police search for Manuel Barboza of Thompson Avenue on a private warrant charging assault with a dangerous weapon on John Silva of 117 Bay View Avenue. The fight last Thursday left Silva with deep facial and head wounds. Initial Plans For Armistice Observance Made Last Night
The Armistice Day Observance Committee met at G A R Hall to plan the 15th anniversary of the Armistice. Fred M Straight of Kearney Post 6 was named chief parade marshal. Town officials and storeowners were asked to permit use of the common and fireworks sales to fund events. An Armistice banquet and a ball are planned by Kearney Post. The committee includes Donald Gladue chair, Edward M Kavanaugh vice chair, James Magee secretary, James F Duffy treasurer, and others.
