Community mobilizes to fund gifts for Bristol service members
A Bristol based committee of local industry leaders is formed to raise funds for Christmas gifts for men and women in service. The group plans an entertainment fundraiser. first meeting is at the Y M C A on Tuesday at 8 p.m. Bristol Honor Roll lists 534 names with about 100 unsigned. Postmaster cautions on parcel sizes and weight limits for overseas shipments.
