Local Man Files Mandamus Suit Over Hopeworth Roads

New Noon Siren Check at Fire Stations and CD centers
Starting Monday September 21 a new system will sound sirens daily at 12 noon at fire stations and CD warning centers. Seven sirens will be tested every day, replacing Saturdays 11:30 am tests. Chief Oscar A Rishe says the change improves alarm apparatus checks and provides a noon signal alongside factory whistles.
