A total of 236 children enrolled on the first day at St Marys Parochial School, seven more than last year, while 65 youngsters registered at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church kindergarten, up from about 60 last year.

Toonerville Trolley on Ontario Lakes Tour Thrills Guests
A travel party of my wife and the Cooleys rode a 60 mile boat trip connecting two Ontario lakes. They encountered Fairy and Peninsula Lakes, passing a Toonerville Trolley resembling Bristol’s old line. The two locomotive powered trolley from Toronto drew crowds as cameras flashed and freight moved along.
