Three colored men were jailed in Warren on murder charges after the shooting of Dr. C Franklin Mohr and Miss Emily G Burger near Nayatt. Dr. Mohr's wife Elizabeth F Mohr faces indictment for inciting the crime. her bail was set at 10000. The defendants, including George W Healis Cecil Victor Brown and Henry W Spellman, confessed in detail to the plan and execution of the killings.
