The St. Michael's Church Brotherhood held its annual meeting at the Holmes House. Henry Wood was reelected president for a second year. New officers include Everett LeBaron as vice president and Charles F Easterbrooks as secretary. Treasurer Herbert R Newman named. executive and standing committees appointed. annual reports of secretary and treasurer read and accepted.
Stephen D Coggeshall of 120 Hope Street was arraigned before Judge G Frederick Frost in the Seventh District Court in Fast Providence and fined 200 dollars after pleading guilty. Patrolman Quintes of Fast Providence police observed a zigzagging car on Turner Avenue Riverside late Saturday. a doctor deemed Coggeshall unfit to operate and he was jailed. John Foley, 19 Williams Street, pleaded guilty to operating an automobile while intoxicated and paid 100 dollars and costs at a special Fifth District Court session in Warren. Foley was arrested Wednesday on a complaint from another driver who said Foley nearly ran him down.
The Frog Hollow Rebels lost 6 to 0 to Riverside Pikers on Saturday at West Barrington. Riverside star Ka scored the touchdown while McGee Wither and Thompson starred for the Rebels who were outweighed by 25 pounds. Address details mention Union Street Bristol for contacts.
