Bristol NRA Parade Sets Town Record With 6000 Marchers

Bristol Rhode Island staged its largest NRA demonstration with more than six thousand marchers, nine divisions and about 25 000 spectators along a 34 mile route. The parade honored the NRA with Col Alfred M Merriman as chief marshal and featured Miss Mary E Hughes and various local officials, Boy and Girl Scout contingents, school groups and veterans units.

Trip To Greece Described By John Nicholas Brown

John Nicholas Brown of Providence described a 1929 Mediterranean trip to Greece with friends aboard a chartered boat. He showed photographs of ancient and modern Greece using a stereoptic lantern operated by James P. Ridgey. The meeting of St. Michael's Brotherhood also elected new officers led by President Wm. H. Angevine and honored secretary Charles H. Sparks who departs for Ohio with his family.

Master Play for Church Fund by St Elizabeth Dramatic Club

Kearney Post Visitation Schedule For Legion Installations

Commander Edmonds lists a series of joint and individual post installations across Rhode Island from October 24 to 27. Delegations from Kearney Post No 6 and the Auxiliary Unit will attend events in Lonsdale Westerly Edgewood Providence Woonsocket and Cumberland with multiple joint installations. Bristol Hosts Columban Fathers at Knights of Columbus
