Daniel A Guide aged 68 of 73 Constitution Avenue died last Tuesday. A solemn requiem Mass was offered Saturday morning from his home and St Marys Church. Burial followed at St Marys Cemetery with bearers Edward Quinn Hugh Gallagher Edward J Quinn James Murphy Patrick McCadden John J McGovern.

Herbert W Spink of St Andrew's School Bar rington preached at a 7 30 p m service. The United Youth Offering benefited St Francis' Home for Boys Salina Kansas. Assisting were Barbara Newman Emily Perry and Jack Mathewson.
At St Marys CYO Center a lively gathering featured music by Eddie the drummer and performances by Kenny Ebony Boy with the golden tonsils. Prizes flowed to local residents including Roger Perreira and Lillian Barrett as a spirited election chose Frank Thurber for president and Theresa Mendéiros as treasurer with Dot Silvia as secretary.
The First Bristol Troop of Boy Scouts met to outline repainting the exterior of the scout building next week during school vacation. Afterward they plan interior renovations for winter use and aim to pursue a new building next spring. New patrol leaders include Bettencourt Vaccaro Xavier and Francis. Recruit Night will sign up 11 year olds. Halloween party set for Nov 1 with organizers listed. Drum corps will practice tonight and Thursday, followed by a testimonial dinner honoring their four summer titles.
