Citizens have cooperated with tips and checks on suspicious vehicles and people as detectives pursue leads in three incidents at Mrs Bertram Wall home Manchester Ford Sales and a boat at Ferry Hill Rd. Grand Jury Ties Drug Ring With Multi-Department Raid
Seventeen officers from Bristol Warren and Barrington led by Bristol Chief Teixeira conducted a 7 30 pm raid at Falugo parking lot Silver Creek following a three month probe with teen informants. Indicted were Drainville Sousa Cirillo and Cruz for unlawful sale of narcotic drugs with five vehicle search warrants. Arrests included Vanderhoek Ruggieri Walker Andrews Nero Goulart Mazza and Rideger along with two juveniles. A second raid at 370 Metacom Ave Warren yielded drugs and paraphernalia with more arrests anticipated.

Moratorium Conducted At BHS
Bristol High School joined the national Viet Nam War moratorium with a peaceful event in the auditorium organized by the history department led by Santa W. Matrone.
