Boy Scout Notes Outline NRA Parade Activities
The Bugle and Drum Corps will lead the third NRA parade in Warren on Saturday afternoon with the Boys and Girls division marshaled by John J Callahan. Scouts meet tomorrow at 1 pm. A Court of Honor session is set for next Tuesday at 7 pm in the Scout Building. Bristol Troops will participate in the NRA parade next week with floats in the second division. Troop 4 plans Halloween observances this evening, and Troop 1 hosts Advancement Night next Monday with tender foot investure. Officials plan for Troop 37 entertainment next month and a weekend hike to Camp Yangoog in November. A Halloween party committee is formed at Troop 5 meeting with Maurice Smith, Edmund Houle, and Bernard Grabert. A Bugle and Drum Corps business meeting next Tuesday will discuss new equipment. The Bristol Advisory Committee meets Oct 24 at Warren High School. The Narragansett Council Fall Round-Up is Oct 2 in Newport with a parade afternoon feature.
