Draft workers meet Monday for instructions townwide

Bristol volunteers for Registration Day are called to Reynolds School Monday at 8 15 p m for instructions. James J Velleca and Albert A Edmonds named chief registrars for Districts One and Two. Registrars will man two groups with 20 present per district. Registration runs 7 a m to 9 p m next Wednesday at County Court House and Reynolds School.

Miss Lillian Politzer a nineteen year old refugee from Austria spoke at Taft School Club Fathers Night recounting life under Nazi rule in Vienna the family’s escape via the Dutch consul and their arrival in America. She praised freedom in the United States noting it took five years to become a citizen and described her progress in evening classes toward a secretary’s job.
