Committee Appointed To Boost Bristol Counts Festival Chorus
At a Bristol counts festival chorus meeting a seven member committee was formed to interview singers and draw in new members. The panel includes Andrew J Coyle Miss Dorothy Foster Chester R Burgess Edward A Currier Jr Miss Gertrude Brown and Mrs Eda Batty of Warren. They will report Monday on efforts to reengage former members and recruit prospects. Judge Edward Le Leahy urged chorus help for the September 1930 250th anniversary celebration with a concert in January. Rehearsals covered a long list of pieces including Glory to God in the Highest and Ring Out Wild Bells with enthusiasm high despite a smaller chorus.
