At Kearney Post No 6 American Legion meeting the Legion sponsors a memorial for Brig Gen Luke H Callan founder and first commander of the post. Knights of Columbus and Rotary Club each appoint a three member committee to plan the memorial with the post committee. A joint committee will authorize plans and funding. Armistice Day observance plans were also formed with Donat Jo Gladue Theron Doane Manuel Po Goulart Elmer McNamara and Fred M Straight. An audit committee was named and donations totaling 350, plus a 900 in war bonds, were noted as funds and pledges.

New Choral Group Organizes Bristol Choral Society
A small group met at the YMCA to form the Bristol Choral Society. Twenty to thirty members will attend weekly Friday rehearsals at 845 PM with dues of 10 cents.
