Bristol Town Council names Rohrman as police officer
The Bristol Town Council, at the monthly session, appointed Richard Connery’s vacancy as police officer with new candidate B Rohrman, a 26 year old native of Bristol and longtime employee at National India Rubber Company. Other actions included electing Walter L. Cole to the North Burial Ground, considering water-rate hearings, and ordering railroad sidewalk access improvements on Thames and Constitution streets. The council also created a War Service Historian post, naming J F Farrally, and appointed Antone Silva as special constable amid ongoing wartime matters.
