The body of Manoel Piccdo of Fall River was found washed ashore on Mount Hope Bay near the Bishop Howe farm by Frank Perry Fox Hill, with Chief of Police Thomas Dwyer notified and Medical Examiner Horace Seymour summoned. The body was turned over to Undertaker Augustus Duffy and sent to Fall River. Death attributed to accidental drowning.
