Seven major groups including the YMCA YMCA Ladies Auxiliary Knights of Columbus Jewish Welfare Board War Camp Community Service American Library Association and Salvation Army agreed to unify appeals in a single campaign the week of November. Funeral for Mrs. Mariancolo Cariglio Held After Spanish Flu
The funeral for Mrs. Mariancolo Cariglio wife of Santo Cariglio who died last Thursday at 4 Usher street from Spanish influenza was held Saturday from her home to the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. A requiem high mass was celebrated by Rev. Joseph Poja with Miss Caroline Maturi singing Pie Jesu at offertory. Prof. Henry F. Donovan presided at the organ. Interment was at St Mary's Cemetery.
