Bristol youths plan water voyage to Chicago in 22 by 8 foot catboat

John Hoffacker and Fred Gebhardt both 25 vow a 30 day water trip from Bristol to Chicago aboard the 22 by 8 ft catboat Eleanor Mane. They will travel from Long Island Sound to New York harbor then up the Hudson to Watertown and beyond through canals to Lake Michigan with stops in New York City and Albany. Hoffacker graduated from the University of Chicago and Gebhardt from the University of Illinois.

Rally Day at Congregational Church and Youth Activities
