Rhode Island Plans October Air Raid Drills and Blackouts
October air raid drills are scheduled for Rhode Island with field exercises for Section 4 in the north, Section 3 in Providence, and a state-wide blackout. Brigadier General Earl C Webster, State Director of Civilian Defense, says drills will be inspected by State Headquarters staff and army officers.
