Bristol Christmas lights project to start Saturday
2500 lights and 4600 feet of wiring will be installed in Bristol for the Community Christmas celebration under the direction of Frank Francis Edward D. Kunz and James Sisson with support from St. Elizabeth’s Church. Tunneling Hope Street will feature overhead multicolor lights from Court Street to Bradford Street and Colt High will glow with floods and trees. The 14 foot Maine levergreens will grace the High School balustrade while decorations adorn the Hope Street wall. Tag days are set for December 16 17 and 18 with Girl Scouts and Colt High students collecting funds and prizes for top fundraisers. Otis Bailey Sr Town Building Inspector made the first donation of five dollars as the drive reaches $7579 solicited at football games.

A Providence court jailed Brouillette for a year while Ferrara and Paradise received probation after pleading guilty to larceny of copper cable valued at 1200 pounds from Milton Chase.
