Bristol to See Six Less Beer and Liquor Licenses

Tomorrow marks the start of a new licensing period with at least six fewer beer and liquor establishments in Bristol. The council has granted 28 licenses across classes A B and C, with a pending permit and a fee readjustment for taverns and victualers. Police Chief Ferrara warned saloon owners to fully comply with state regulations or face license nullification.

He titled the talk Death and Destruction, eliciting jokes like Here lies the body of John Mound Lost at sea and never found and Monuments of this same style Are two hundred dollars as part of a tour of New England and Colonial influences.

Bishop Bennett to Speak at St Michael's Tuesday

Right Rev. Granville G Bennett an octary bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Rhode Island will address parishioners at a parish meeting next Tuesday night in the parish house on Hopes. A number of other speakers will be present. Refreshments will follow.

Marriage Rites Held At Our Lady Of Mt Carmel

The contracting couple at the ceremony in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church were Miss Elizabeth Stanzione and James Gambardella. Attendants were Mrs. Anna Lampo and Jack Gambardella. The altar featured seasonal flowers. Miss Stanzione wore a white tiat velvet gown with a white veil. She carried a bouquet of calla lilies and lilies of the valley.
