First National opens Bristol store on Gooding Ave
The new First National supermarket on Gooding Avenue will open next Wednesday morning. Joan Makara will be grocery manager, coming from the Hope Street Store, with Adrille Boucher as meat manager. The 5000 item store aims to serve Bristol shoppers with a grand prize giveaway during the opening week including a Ford Falcon or $2000 cash, Whirlpool deep freeze, Philco TV, and food certificates.
