Beachcomber by William McFee reviewed with praise
A Atlantic author William McFee who was born at sea is praised for wide experience and sharp observation. The Beachcomber is lively yet sometimes overplots with many characters, notably Captain Sidney Neville and Athalie who embodies mystery and religious restraint. The reviewer admires McFee’s voice though notes plot complexity and occasional overambition.
