Dr. William F. Duffy told Bristol Rotarians that pupil health is very good with growing parental cooperation. He cited exams for throat, teeth, ears, eyes, and weight, noting 10 percent with tonsil trouble, 3 percent hearing issues, 10 percent poor eyesight, and over 50 percent with bad teeth.

Train of Artillery Wins Third Match for Town Trophy
The Bristol Train of Artillery won the third life match for the Town Council trophy at Battery C indoor range. They beat Battery C by 36 points, 718 to 682. High scores went to Capt FE. R. Bullock and Capt Ralph Bennett of the BTA with 146 each. Lieut Albert A Moren and Sergt Manuel Morris led Battery C with 142 and 140.

Unconscious From Contact With Live Wire At Factory
Harold T. Sylvester of Usher Avenue, a wire division worker at the National India Rubber Company factory, was knocked unconscious for hours after his head touched a live electrical wire and he fell from a ladder. He received first aid at the plant, then medical care, and later returned home to recover.
