D A R Memorial Service Honors Eight Former Regents
Bristol Chapter of the D A R held a memorial service at the Chapter House for eight former Bristol Regents whose graves were marked with bronze markers. The event followed a summer dedication at their gravesites and included readings by Mrs. Samuel A Hall and Chaplain Mrs. Howard K DeWolf.

Colt Memorial graduate joins Naval Reserve as Seaman Beauregard
Colt Memorial high school graduate Class 41 and Brightman Medal winner has enlisted as a seaman second class in the United States Naval Reserve. Placed in Class M-2 of experienced yachtsmen and maritime personnel, he will man local defense vessels and assist in salvage duties. He is the son of Mr and Mrs Louis Beauregard of 972 Hope Street.

Armistice Day Committee to Hold Final Meeting
The 1941 Armistice Day Committee will meet at 8 P.M. in the Kearney Post Home on Franklin street. Members with claims against the committee must file with the secretary before the meeting. The Entertainment Committee reported the Armistice banquet and dance were successful. Commander Rex announced Domenic Mascolo as Post Advisor Recreation Board representative. The Bingo Committee seeks more volunteers for Wednesday bingo events.
