Drimken Driving and Accident At Fifth District Court

In a Fifth District Court session Judge Hammill presided over Martin D. Shippee of Taunton facing two charges. He was fined 100 dollars for operating under the influence and 25 dollars for not stopping after an accident. A separate drunkenness case was fined 2 dollars. Police reports describe a collision on Bay View avenue with Domenic Perron and pursuit by a truck driver. Moonshine plant evidence led to destruction of seized liquor and gear. Presidential Election Day In Bristol Bright turnout expected

Bristol voters turn out for a presidential race and state contests with a forecast of about 3500 votes from 3795 eligible. Polling at Artillery Armory and Town Hall opened with lively activity.
