In Bristol the fall in tree donations prompts appeals for residents to fund at least one or two saplings each. Tree Warden Samuel Kinder has planted about 100 young trees along Church and Hope streets and is transplanting on Hope north of Franklin, Oliver, and upper High Street. The sinking fund report showed a net debt of 195000 after 37000 retired. Gas main leaks on Hope Street prompted a request for company representatives to attend November 3 meetings. Jurors for U S Court were drawn and a canvass of voter lists adjusted. Albert G Earle of the Bristol County Gas & Electric Co. reported leak efforts and William J Munro was named election supervisor.
