Florence DeWolf remembered as Bristol’s valued citizen
Florence Griswold DeWolf of Bristol, daughter of Algernon DeWolf and descendant of John DeWolf and Alexander Griswold, died after a long illness. A cheerful, steady woman, she balanced social duties with charity work, medical knowledge interests, and service to St Michael's. An avid outdoorswoman, she enjoyed farming, gardening, boating, and a summer regatta. Her faith remained central as she taught at the Sunday school and supported church charities. Her loss will be deeply felt across Bristol’s civic and spiritual circles.
