Do It Yourself Car Care Tips From The Era
Replacing a bulb with a graphite coat on the base prevents corrosion and sticking. Wipe vaseline around the headlight joint to repel water and ease removal. If carburetor troubles aren’t from the usual sources, the main metering jet may fail under load as vast gasoline flow stresses it, sometimes breaking off.
