Children In St. Marys Procession Crowns Statue At May Church Event
More than 200 children joined the St. Marys Church procession on Sunday afternoon. Mary Sherman crowned the statue of the Blessed Mother in the convent garden, with attendants Shirley Mello and Katherine McGinn. The Holy Childhood act of consecration followed, led by Marie Andrade and aided by Nancy Manchester and Lois Proto. Bruce Linday served as cross bearer and acolytes assisted. A Rotary Club luncheon and plant inspection at G W Dahl Co. site followed.
