Memorial Day will be observed in Bristol on May 30 with a parade and patriotic exercises organized by Sons of Union Veterans aided by Spanish American and World War veterans. Divine worship precedes the observance at 7:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church with sermons on Patriotism of Yesterday. The ceremony includes a firing squad, grand marshal led procession, and readings by local students.
