Conference Day at Bristol High School Brings Vocational Talks
Bristol senior high students will meet 18 leaders from fields such as design, office work, shop work, aeronautics, law, medicine, journalism, and textiles in a two-session event. Speakers include Frederick C. Ferry, E. Rivard, Elmer S. Mapes, and Edna Myers among others. An open house follows at Andrews high next week with class visits, displays, and a movie.

Oh Baby musical comedy to unfold in Bristol
Thursday and Friday evenings this week feature the three act musical comedy Oh Baby by William Place Jr of Providence under the Doric Club. It will be staged at Guitteras Memorial School auditorium with Providence cast members and local talents Vernon A Gray and Arthur W Barrett leading the cast. Firemen Raise About 700 For Injured Members Fund
About 700 will be added to the Firemen Relief Fund from a Bristol firemen ball at the Bristol Casino. The group debates whether to pool the money for a general fund or divide it among four companies for individual care and whether to buy insurance.
